Treat for your feet! - £3.00 Foot Mask

I bought this Foot Mask from Primark last week for £3.00. I was drawn in at the till point as I love anything for feet and an exfoliating foot mask sounded right up my street.

I used the foot mask on a Sunday night as the instructions stated that you needed to leave it on for 90 mins. When I opened the packet I was a little disappointed as it was not what I had initially expected. I imagined a packet of grainy lotion that was going to buff my feet to perfection but instead it was 2 plastic socks filled with what can only be described as water. I decided to give it a go but did feel a bit silly sitting in plastic socks. After 90mins I washed my feet and they still looked the same so I felt a bit cheated. It said on the instructions that you should see results after a few days and not to pick or peel your skin. A week later the magic began and after a shower I noticed that my feet looked a bit flaky. After closer inspection the dead skin literally started falling off in big chunks. I'm a definite picker and despite reading the instructions I couldn't resist peeling away. The skin underneath was new and soft and there was no pain. I can only describe this mask as like a chemical peel for the feet. I usually remove dead skin from my feet with a pumice or scrub but I will definitely be re-purchasing this. I would recommend this for getting feet ready for summer but would suggest using it a couple of weeks before going on holiday as you don't want the skin peeling off while you are away.
